Probe triggered prior to movement
When performing QGL steps or other operations, the screen or console displays "probe triggered prior to movement"
1. This error occurs because the corner where the sensor stops is too far out of range, it is too high or too low, so the sensor stops it.
2. The gantry has a slight deformation and needs to be recalibrated
3. The sensor cable is loose or damaged
1. Check the proximity switch and use a metal plate to detect the proximity switch. If the proximity switch does not respond or the gantry cannot stop in the Z-axis direction, please contact SOVOL to replace the proximity switch.
2. Check the cable of the proximity switch to make sure it is not loose or broken.
3. Calibrate the gantry. Push both ends of the X-axis at the same time (avoid unilateral push and pull to cause slight deformation of the X-axis position). Push the X-axis to the rear end of the gantry frame. The X-axis should be close to the AB axis motor base. There should be no gap between the X/Y joint and the A/B axis motor base. After completing the gantry calibration, repeat the QGL step
4. Move the gantry up or down about 1 inch when the proximity switch is at the stop and error position, and recalibrate the height of the gantry using QGL.
